Investing Where It's Needed Most
Our campaign focuses on several important projects and equipment needs throughout Sleepy Eye Golf Club.
These aren't simply improvements for today. They're investments intended to help our club serve members, guests, and the community for years to come.
CLUBHOUSE FLOORING
The carpet in the dining area and flooring behind the bar are worn and nearing the end of their useful life.
Replacing these surfaces will improve the appearance and functionality of our clubhouse while providing a longer-lasting solution.
TEE BOX #1 AREA
Broken surfaces and deterioration have created an area that needs attention.
Improving this space will provide a more welcoming appearance and improve the overall experience from the moment golfers begin their round.
GOLF CARTS
Our golf carts are aging, and maintaining an aging fleet becomes increasingly expensive.
Our goal is to purchase five new carts and begin a yearly replacement approach that allows us to address aging carts over time rather than replacing them all at once.
CLUBHOUSE ENTRANCES
Our clubhouse entrances create challenges throughout the year.
Cold winter winds and air-conditioning loss during the summer can make the clubhouse uncomfortable and less efficient.
New entrance enclosures would improve comfort for members and guests while helping us better manage heating and cooling.
CART PATHS & PARKING LOT
Our current aggregate surfaces need fresh material and continued maintenance.
Investing in these areas will help address deterioration and improve access throughout the property.
GOLF COURSE MOWERS
Our course requires reliable equipment to maintain the quality our members and guests expect.
We purchase good used equipment when possible, but prices continue to increase.
Our current mower and course equipment needs require attention in the coming years.
Campaign funding will help us address these important equipment needs.
CART SHED REPLACEMENT
Our oldest original cart shed has reached the end of its useful life.
Replacing it with a new double-wide shed would allow us to:
